ONE-TO-ONE SPARRING FOR ENTREPRENEURS

EVENTUALLY, IT ALL LANDS ON YOUR DESK.

When the team, the numbers, and the next decision all depend on you, another playbook is not much use. In the Inner Circle, we sort through the business problem and the pressure wrapped around it.

Manuel Koelman on stage

I KNOW THE WEIGHT, NOT JUST THE THEORY.

I have hired and fired, acquired and exited, invested and lost it all. More than once, I have fought to keep a company out of bankruptcy. I bring 20+ years of building, running, and investing in companies to the room. The advice has to survive contact with payroll, customers, team dynamics, and the person carrying all of it.

A founder’s problems rarely arrive one at a time. Customer growth, team motivation, difficult conversations, money, and the question of whether you are still working on the right thing can all land on your desk at once.

I’M NOT SELLING FISH.

A quick answer can fix this week’s symptom and leave the same problem waiting for you next Monday. We look for what is driving it, question the assumptions underneath it, and decide what deserves your attention now.

Sometimes we have to ask the question under the question: how are you helping create the very thing you want to avoid? That can sting. It can also be where a stuck business problem starts to move.

I will tell you what I think, directly and with your interests in mind. The aim is not for you to borrow my answer. It is for you to leave with a clearer decision and better judgement for the next one.

THE MONTHLY HEARTBEAT.

01 · REGULAR SESSIONS

One or two fixed slots each month

We agree on one or two recurring times. You choose the topics, so the conversation stays close to what is actually happening in your business.

02 · BETWEEN SESSIONS

Priority access when it is urgent

When something cannot wait for the next session, you get a priority link to book time. It is typically within a few days.

03 · WHEN IT HELPS

The PIRATE network

If an introduction to a founder, investor, or expert would help, I can open the relevant part of my network.

RADICAL HONESTY GOES BOTH WAYS.

I will listen, challenge your assumptions, and say the thing that needs saying. Not to win an argument, and not to make you feel good for an hour. Because we only make progress if we can be honest with each other.

I expect you to be sincere about wanting to grow and to do the work between sessions. This is a relationship, not a one-off transaction.

START WITH THE THING ON YOUR MIND.

The first sparring session is free. No pitch, just value. Bring the main topic or current challenge you want to work through. We will get into it, and you should leave with at least one actionable insight.

The Inner Circle runs on a fixed monthly retainer, with no long-term contract. You pay for ongoing support, not for counting minutes. You can cancel at any time.
